At some time in our lives, many of us may feel stressed, anxious or depressed – maybe even suicidal. Perhaps a specific life event has triggered these feelings, such as relationship breakdown, illness, bereavement, work pressures or some other crisis in your personal life.

Sometimes we don’t know why we feel a certain way,  therefore, having the opportunity to talk about what is going on for us can often help.

Qualified Counsellor

As a person centred counsellor, I have helped my clients address and work through a wide range of issues and concerns.

What people have found most helpful is someone who listens to their concerns, who doesn't judge them and who offers empathy and a non- judge-mental understanding for them and their situation.
A member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy ( BACP )

Adults, Couples and Young People

I work with adults, couples and young people.

My experience working with young people has predominantly been within secondary education settings.  I have however, also worked with children from age 5.

The adults and young people I work with are all experiencing some level of concern or worries around their mental health and general well- being.

Feeling Anxious Worried or Scared

It is my aim to always try to put my clients at ease.  Many may never have been to a counsellor before which understandably may lead them to feeling scared, anxious or worried about embarking on this new experience.

As a naturally caring person I try to encourage my clients to feel comfortable and relaxed  in order that we can work towards building a trusting relationship.

I am passionate about helping my clients feel secure and valued and I aim to achieve this by offering them a confidential and safe environment to explore their feelings.
